That is one punchy ass kick. d:
Gives off a Seven Lionss feel :)
I really like the arrangement of your synths and those basses.
Spot on yo! :D

Lockyn responds:

Thanks so much dude! OMG that is a HUGE compliment xD I don't really deserve it, but thank you anyways! lolol.

keep up your awesome work, I enjoyed your recent dubstep posts! :D

hmmm, not really house.. d:
More on the lines of some experimental dubstep.
Though I like the different basses you should try and arrange them so it doesn't seem so random!

Off the bat I notice that a lot of the synths are pretty dry. d:
I can hear some reverb but you should really bump it some some and add a delay to the high pitch lead, maybe sidechain a little bit?

That piano.
I wish I could create a melody so beautiful.
I feel the snare has too much reverb and should raise the high ends (:
The white noise in the background is really loud, it covers up some of the bass.
Maybe use some more side compression? (:
Really sick song though.

Hmm, gives me a Noisestorm, Tristam feel! :) I feel like the drums could use some buffing as well, they're kind of hiding behind all the synths!

Great job though!
Check out my stuff? :D

Grimey.
I love that bass, and slow the song is.
Really not much feedback though, everything is just spot on dude, nice.
What VST did you use for that bass? :D

Stay away from those generic trance synths. Try creating a unique synth that sounds just as good! Maybe add a vibrato? Or a phaser? Try different effects and experiment man! (: But pretty good.

TEIONmusic responds:

I respect your comment, but the synth already has heavy chorus on it. I spent about 2 hours on that synth itself. I am really proud of how it came out

First 15 seconds were brilliant, though after it seemed to be overwhelmed a bit. and there seems to be a snare that's offset as well.

Try experimenting with different basses to finish this!

xTronK responds:

Yeah, i noticed that off snare, but this is just raw loop to show my uber shit producing skills. And after 15 sec i wanted something energetic and driving, but i guess i did too much layers cuz it sounds really shitty.

Very interesting. I imagine this could be used as in-game background music for an 8-bit of some sort. But I really like your synths and the variety of things you tried.
Very intricate. I think you could make very interesting tracks. Especially with the the dubstep break towards the end. you really have something going there. (:
5/5!

adaline responds:

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback!

I'm glad you enjoyed the music. Variety was a key idea in creating this as I wanted to try as many new things in a rather short track without making it too much of a clutter.

Intricacy was really fun to put together! All the tiny little details, variations, every build up, putting together the synths, both lead and those floating in the background, was all really fun and I'm happy that you feel it came out well!

Again, thanks so much. I didn't expect as positive of a reaction from this piece as it's my first foray into what is wilderness to me. Thank you!

Pretty catchy at the start, but stay away from those generic melodies and keep it fresh! (: I do like what you did with those plucky synths though. 4/5!

Xsalvaz responds:

Thanks man! Just going for the easy-to-like, catchy melody dance song. Like I said, about 30 minutes max of work into this. haha.
