Very good.

Great song.
I loved the pads, melodies, everything.
The one thing I would change is the lead that comes in at 1:10.
I would make it a little louder, and make it sounds a little more grungey/filthy if that makes any sense. Oh and maybe take the reverb down a notch. (:
If only my tracks were as good as this, I want to buy FL Studio.
What program do you use?

Tzunami responds:

Thanks, and yeah, I got tired of trying to constantly deal with this song so I just went with what I've got. Was hoping to give it a surreal ambient feel as well. I'm current using FL Studios and everything it has to offer to make my music.

Wow.

This reminds me of my music...just on steroids. Haha.
I love the "chill trancey" sound" if you get what I mean. It's like in my nature to make it. i'm no good at build-ups, or anything hardcore.
The Melody at 1:10 is almost EXACTLY the same as one one of my other songs. I just forgot which one it was. Haha.
Good job. 9/10.

YakovlevArt responds:

Hey man, i swear i did not copy -hahaha!
Yeah man, I've heard a few of your tracks, they are great. I would say really just keep practicing!
Yeah, builds are hard to make sometimes...
Although I BELIEVE this is one of my less developed (Trance) tracks, I'm surprised how well people are responding to it being chill. I sure as heck didn't intend for it be be like this.
To think: Originally I wanted to make a short loop for TheBoogley.

Teh Lead.

The lead hands down has too much reverb, take it down a notch. (:
And maybe take the bass down on the lead bass, it can get a little distorted at times. Pretty nice track, I do recommend a build-up though.
I anticipated every time the song was going to buildup or drop of, try and use a little bit more diversity when organizing the song. Instead of using the 4 bar 8 bar 16 bar rule ya know? GOOD SHIT YO.

DJPeanutbutter responds:

I meant for the lead to be echo-y, but now that you point it out I see it's much to echo-y ^^' I never heard of that rule. I thought I had a build up in like the middle o.o

Okay.

You must. Give me. Tips.
Program?
Kicks?
VSTs?
I need your help. You obviously have more experience than me.
And house is also what I'm trying to learn.
Maybe you could send me a message of some Tips, and tricks you know of?
It'd be so much appreciated. And in return I could help you with anything that you may need help with. :D

YakovlevArt responds:

hahaha! Hey,
no problem man. Maybe we can do a collab, cuz like i said i like that one saong you did. So through a collab you can see how i work and programs used. I'll just send you a few PMs explaining it =]
Thanks for the score and review though =]

A few things...

The beginning I think was great, but when it started buliding up you skipped a few beats which killed it. Youwent from 1/8's to 1/4's, and there were only like two 1/4 hits, and then skipped two, and went to 16th's....Am I making sense? XD
Sorry, just work on that buildup please.

Hmm..

It could be better.
If you arranged the kicks and claps into an organized 1/8 pattern it'd better.
As of now it's just a jumple of 4 or 5 sounds, with no direct melody or lead.
Good try!

vonsallian responds:

thanks mate, its good to have some advice and not hate for a change :)

Damn.

Talk about dark and scary. Great piano melody.

Scary and Dark.

You succedded in everything you were trying to accomplish.
Makes me scared of twinkle twinkle litte star now.
There were a few key issues I heard, but aside from that good job.

michellellao responds:

Thanks for reviewing this! I'm kinda new to making music, so I'd really appreciate if you can tell me what the key issues are so I can try to prevent them next time.

HOW FUNNY.

I LITERALLY tried to review this right before you reviewed mine.
Haha, but then my laptop exploded. NOW.
Here's what I said...
"Meteor colliding with earth."
That one line set a whole new mood for this song.
I imagine this song playing as destruction and debris lie everywhere.
Reminds of Canon on D.
I wouldn't change a single thing. It's amazing.

auroalee1 responds:

Yeah, i'm not sure how well this music fit with the image of a meteor hitting Earth, but I'm glad I was able to connect with someone. It makes more sence in the video. The music is a very sureal look at the destruction of the earth, instead of the more common, "hard-core" version.

thanks for the high rating. :)

Woah.

So at first I was like this is going to suck.
But then those snares and the bass came in, and I was like WOAH.
I really this.
Reminds me of CAT RATS by Skrillex.
Me likes.It's very unique.

scottwjsm responds:

glad you liked it
